What does a Rainbow taste like?

I was looking for a birthday cake for my daughter, something fun and happy, that would make an awesome surprise~ and here is what I found!! It it not amazing?

Recipe at the lovely whatever blog. 

I did see this recipe before in a Family Circle magazine, but the blog's  is so much more personal, and photos are lovely~ 

The recipe makes it super easy by using boxed cake mix. However, I used the Maple cake recipe she loves so much, see here, and just added food coloring~
